Ms America® International 2007!
Tram Ho, of Tustin, CA was crowned Ms. America® International 2007 on January 27 at the Verdugo Hills Country Club in Glendale, CA.
Over 30 delegates applied for the competition where it was narrowed down to 10 finalists. Through out the three-hour competition, the finalists competed in three categories including, interview, evening gown and community service.
Tram is the first Asian/American to be crowned Ms. America® International. She would like to use her title to help bridge the gap between Asian and American cultures. Not a stranger to pageants Tram was also crowned in 2005 Mrs. Asia USA.
An entrepreneur, Tram has been a hairstylist for 27 years and owns Images By Tram Salon in Tustin, CA. A humanitarian, she started the “Haircuts For Love” where she donates free haircuts to the homeless and orphan children. Her Community Service includes over 1000 hours of volunteer service to various charities and non-profit organizations as a translator, emcee/singer at events and fundraiser throughout Southern California.
In March of 2007, Ms. America® International - Tram Ho received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award from President Bush for her outstanding volunteer service in helping to build stronger communities in the United States.
Born in Vietnam, Tram came to the United States with her family including her daughter Trinity in 1991 and married Jack Urich in 1995. She studied English and Business Administration at Golden West College and became a United States citizen in 1997.
